LXC

Linux Containers is a fairly new virtualization technology that is very similar to Solaris Containers or Virtuozzo. Linux containers allows you to create logical partitions within Linux. This allows you to run many flavors of Linux but you can not run different operating systems, like Windows or FreeBSD.
